About this Workshop: These panelists will explore the parent-scholar identity and how that differs from the ‘traditional’ college student. They will also highlight their personal experiences and discuss how parent-scholar stories can inform campus stakeholders’ efforts to better support this student population toward graduation. Attendees will walk away with a better understanding about how and why the parent-scholar of color identity is critical for furthering campus inclusion and equity efforts.
