Queer Sex and Consent Education Workshops: The Queer Body and Colonial Violence Feat. Professor Sanya and Professor Barreto
This semester QTPOC, Haven, and the Medusa Movement are launching a 5 part series on queer sex education and consent. Each session will discuss different topics and you are able to sign up for whichever sessions you would like to attend. If you would like to sign up for all of them, you can do that as well. Unfortunately, we do have to cap these sessions and a max of 40 attendees. This means that sign up will work on a first come first serve basis. Everyone is welcome to sign up; however, we will give priority to Queer and/or BIPOC attendees. Queer sex education and consent is definitely something that can benefit all of the Colgate community. Come join us as we unlearn the heteronormative ways that we have been taught about sex and consent. This session in particular will discuss the impacts of colonialism on queer body with Professor Sanya and Professor Barreto and will take place on Wednesday, April 7th at 6:30 pm. Please fill out the information below. If you're not comfortable answering certain questions or the questions do not apply to you, feel free to put N/A. This information will not be shared with anyone outside of the collaborators who are working on this event. If you have any further questions about filling out this form, feel free to email qtpoc@colgate.edu. We can't wait to see all of your wonderful faces.
