UCPD Military-Grade Weapons Survey
Greetings Highlanders,

In this short survey, you will be asked to share your opinions and thoughts regarding the fact that UCR UCPD is in possession of military-grade weapons.

The UC Police Department (UCPD) at UC Riverside currently is in possession of a multitude of military-grade weapons that it can utilize in its responses to campus incidents.

Per UCR's Military Equipment Annual Report 2022, campus police has:
- 17 patrol rifles
- 15,000 rounds of rifle ammunition
- 1 LRAD
- 200 FN303 Ammunition
- 7 Def-Tec 40mm Launchers (model 1425)
- 80 Def-Tec 40mm impact ammunition (model 6325)


The purpose of this survey is to spread awareness of this fact and gauge the overall sentiment of the student body regarding this matter. This survey is anonymous.
