In support for a better and new normal towards a green recovery of the Philippine tourism industry, the Transforming Tourism Value Chains Project is organizing and hosting a webinar via MS Teams on "Mobilizing Climate Finance: Investing in Solutions and Innovations for Sustainable Tourism", with guest speakers from the UNEP Copenhagen Climate Centre (UNEP-CCC), GIZ Proklima, and Land Bank of the Philippines, on 13 July 2022, at 3:00-5:00pm PHT / 9:00-11:00am CST.  

This webinar aims to:
1) Discuss how tourism businesses can identify investment needs and financing opportunities
2) Learn more about existing opportunities and approaches for tourism businesses to benefit and develop financial proposals for climate mitigation actions based on the publication: Making the Business Case for Climate-Smart Investments: Guidelines for the Tourism Sector (UNEP)
3) Share information on practical examples of international and local climate investment.
4) Gather feedback from participants on their climate mitigation financial standpoint, understanding, and their needs  to support them on this topic.
