Parents' Night Out IS BACK for the rest of the 2022-2023 school year! Mrs. Chester and the Upper School students of York Academy's National Art Honor Society would love to spend the evening with your children while you go to dinner, catch a movie, or just chill peacefully (and quietly) on your couch! (Please see COVID-19 accommodations at the bottom of this section.)
WHAT: Parents' Night Out!
DATE: Friday, January 6, 2023
TIME: 6:00-9:00PM
LOCATION: York Academy Upper School (enter at Door 12 on Hamilton Avenue)
WHO: K-6 CHILDREN - York Academy students in grades K-6 are invited! Siblings and friends/neighbors of YARCS who are not students at our school are welcome as long as they are in Kindergarten or older.
WHAT WE'LL BE DOING: - Making a fun snowman craft!
- Snack before movie time
- Movie:
Frozen (PG) in the black box theater
- PJ viewing party! Wear your winter PJs! (blankets and stuffies welcome, too!)
COST: $20 for one child, $10 for each additional sibling/child
(Cost is for the entire evening and is not divisible by the hour.)
PLEASE NOTE: Basketball games will be held in the gym on our PNO nights in January and February, so we not have access to the gym. In place of that time, we will do art activities and games. Thank you for your understanding.
COVID-19 PRECAUTIONS - In order to ensure the safety of all of our students, please note that the following precautions will be made:
+ Mask are optional for children, staff, and volunteers entering the Upper School and/or attending PNO.
+ Snacks will be individually wrapped and prepared for students. You are also welcome to send your child a separate snack if you wish. (All PNO snacks are nut-free.)
"Parents' Night Out" events are fundraisers for the Upper School NAHS spring field trip. We appreciate your support!
