Bienvenidos, bem-vindo and welcome to the ROOTAS Dominican Republic application form. 

ROOTAS Dominican Republic is an immersive travel experience for young adults brought to the Los Angeles community by Jewtina y Co. and NuRoots LA. Together, our organizations are working diligently to bring together a diverse group of Latin-Jewish Angelenos to learn, explore, and connect with Dominican culture, history and peoplehood.

Who's this trip for?
  • Angelenos that identify as Latin and Jewish and who are between 21-45 years of age.
  • Individuals that are eager to immerse themselves in Dominican and Caribbean culture.
  • Lovers of group learning and group travel.
  • Curious souls ready to connect with the global Jewish community and deepen their understanding of our collective heritage.

All applicants will be asked to participate in a 20 minute interview. Applications are due by Friday, February 23. Cohort announcement will be made by Friday, March 8th.
