Code of Conduct and Declaration
St Anthony's Parish and Resurrection Parish, Keysborough - Safeguarding Children and Young People

St Anthony's Parish & Resurrection Parish are committed to the safety, wellbeing and dignity of all children and vulnerable adults.

The Catholic Church has a mission-driven moral and legal responsibility to create environments where children and young people are respected and where they feel safe and are safe.

St Anthony's Parish, Resurrection Parish and the Catholic Archdiocese of Melbourne (CAM) holds the care, safety and wellbeing of children and young people as a fundamental responsibility of the Church. This commitment is drawn from, and inherent to, the teaching and mission of Jesus Christ, with love, justice and the dignity of each human person at the heart of the Gospel.

When participating in parish, agency or entity activities, clergy, employees and volunteers are required to
act in a manner that safeguards children and young people from abuse and harm at all times.

All volunteers are required to have a valid Working with Children Check or equivalent and sign a Code of Conduct Declaration.
