Just Like Me! is an adaptable Vacation Bible School program that centers the deep and active faith lives of children and the real-world context our kids live in. Grounded on theologies of inclusion, this unique VBS uses both First and Second Testament Bible characters to help learner build vital social spiritual skills that support active faith development. The intersectional curriculum is designed to help kids celebrate their own identities as beloved creation of God - just as they are. Over the course of the week, campers will be introduced to a cast of neighborhood Gardeners who will help them explore Biblical stories of people who were able to change things for the better. Students will practice sharing what they have, finding their community, and using their voice for others!

In the parallel adult sessions, you will have the opportunity to dig into the theological underpinnings of the Just Like Me curriculum. Each evening, there will be time for prayer, Scripture study, and discussion with the pastors of the three co-sponsoring churches, Pastor Jenny Smith Walz, Pastor Deborah Blanks, and Rev. Kara Slade. We are so excited to bring you this program, and we look forward to seeing you in June!

This is a multi-church, ecumenical program sponsored by Princeton UMC, Mt. Pisgah AME Church,

and Trinity Church.

I understand that I am financially responsible for any expense for medical care or transportation incurred on my behalf. I hereby release Princeton UMC, Mt. Pisgah AME, Trinity Church, their employees, and volunteers from any responsibility for injuries or illness occurring as a result of or coincidental to my participation in these programs.
