It's More Than Milk's (IMTM) vision is for all families to have access to evidence-based, compassionate, and inclusive lactation support. This includes families facing financial hardship.

IMTM's Nourish Community Fund is intended to help families encountering financial hardship, receive high quality lactation support. We are excited to offer low cost visits for families that need it.  For example: if you are uncertain you will have enough money to purchase groceries or diapers every month, you are facing financial hardship.

Please note that the Nourish Community Fund will pay up to 75% of the cost of one to three in-office lactation consultations, based on need.  This program does not provide free visits.  It is required families contribute at least 25% of the cost for each visit .

Each milk making parent must complete all online intake forms (including consents) one day before scheduled appointment.  All visits will take place at the IMTM clinic in South Austin.

When I pay more on a sliding scale, I know that I am helping others to access services. When I pay in the middle, I know I am helping support the service provider. And when I pay at the bottom, I know I am letting my community hold me and support me. All of these are wonderful and acceptable ways of accessing services.

Appointments are subject to availability, submitting application does not guarantee approval. 

A credit card is required to schedule an appointment, and will only be charged for ‘no shows’ or ‘late cancellations’ (policy is outlined on intake paperwork).  This card may also be used to pay your agreed upon cost of each visit.
