2021 Blue Heron's Got Talent - Online Entry & Permission Form

We had so much fun with this last year, we are going to do it again!! Introducing our 2nd annual Blue Heron Virtual Talent Show! The deadline to fill out this form is Friday, April 9th.

**Parents/Guardians: Kindly double-check the spelling of your name and email address - accuracy is important. This form is to be completed by parents/guardians - not students, please. The deadline to submit your act (this form) is Friday, April 9th! The deadline to submit your video performance is Friday, April 30th at 8 pm. Each Blue Heron student participating will receive a Blue Heron's Got Talent T-shirt. The compiled video will be emailed out and posted to the Blue Heron Community Monday, May 3rd.

If your child participates, his/her performance will be viewed electronically by the Blue Heron Community. The final video of all combined "acts" will be unlisted on Vimeo and distributed with a private link via email to the Blue Heron Community. Due to the safety and privacy of our students, we ask that you please personally share the link with family and friends and do not post this information to your social media sites or the web. By submitting this form you are granting permission to the Blue Heron PTA & Talent Show Committee to collect and distribute the talent show video and understand the limitations the Blue Heron PTA has enforcing these requests.

Rules (please read) Preferred time is 2-3 minutes

One act per student unless the student is approved for an additional group act
Group acts may only be family members and class cohorts due to social distancing safety guidelines (no exceptions)
Lead vocals should not be audible in accompaniment music for singing acts
No Lip syncing routines, please
All jokes & music lyrics are subject to review by Talent Show Committee
Parents, please watch the act at least once before submitting the video to check for appropriateness, quality, and length. Watch more if you can!
Avoid vertical video when recording. If recording from your phone turn it horizontal.
Students should put together a quality & well-prepared act so they can do their very best! The Blue Heron’s Got Talent Committee, consisting of teachers, administrators & parents will screen videos/acts for appropriateness, quality & safety.
