Art at Zumi's
At ZUMI’S, we are proud to support local artists by exhibiting your/their work on a rotating basis. The intent is to inspire:  creators find inspiration when there is an opportunity to showcase their work, and patrons find inspiration on many levels when they enjoy these works displayed at our cafe!  

Please be mindful that we are not a gallery, but a cafe, and set your expectations accordingly!

Please confirm that you have read and understood the following:  If items on exhibit are for sale, artists are to handle all sales themselves. It is required that you provide your contact information if your work is going to be for sale. Price listing is up to you. ZUMI’S staff are not involved in this process other than to refer customers to the artist directly by providing the contact information given.  Generally we ask that buyers wait until the end of the exhibit to collect the item that have chosen for purchase.  We have found that customers always want to know about the artist as soon as a new exhibit is put up, so we encourage you to write up an artist’s bio/statement to accompany your exhibit as well. Finally, ZUMI’S does not receive any commission for items sold while hanging at our café. *
Please confirm that you have read and understood the following:  Artists will work directly with Zillie (or Umesh if needed). ZUMI’S staff are not responsible for any part of this exhibit process other than to refer artists to Zillie and refer customers to Zillie or to the artist directly.  Artists will schedule their exhibit dates with Zillie.  Artists are responsible to hang their work together with Zillie, and remove their work independently.   *

There is usually a waitlist for exhibiting work, but sometimes something comes up and we need someone to fill a gap in the schedule on short notice.  Please let us know what your planning needs are for preparing a show.   *

Finally, please confirm that you have read and understood the following:  Artists are welcome to use our venue for a reception of sorts (open-house, showing, meet-the-artist type of event). This is the artist’s event and ZUMI’S is simply the venue, so responsibilities for such an event are the artist’s, but we will gladly post any publicity you provide. Please confer with us to select the day/time you intend to host such an event at least one week in advance so that we can prepare our staff. (also because certain times are more feasible than others). *
