Eagle Scout Service Projects improve the community while stretching the Eagle Scout candidate’s leadership skills. Please use this form to recommend potential contacts and/or projects.
Following is the criteria that an Eagle Scout Service Project must meet:
- The project must be for any religious institution, school or community institutions, such as museums and service agencies like homes for the elderly.
- The project must present an opportunity for planning, development, and leadership.
- The project does not have to be original, but it could be.
- Projects may not be of a commercial nature or for a business.
- A project may not be a fundraiser in an effort that primarily collects money
- No more than one Eagle Scout candidate may receive credit for working on the same Eagle Scout Service Project
- Projects must not be performed for the Boy Scouts of America, or its councils, districts, units, or properties.
