Exam Guidance from Instructor - Spring 2024 Term - PSU Academic Testing Services (ATS)

Spring 2024 TERM

Please note that Academic Testing Services (ATS) is not part of the DRC and we are no longer part of SHAC (as of 2020). We are part of the Student Success division, within Academic Affairs.

---

We strongly encourage faculty and students to connect at the start of each term and to submit all exam support requests to Academic Testing Services (ATS) for the entire term by the end of Week 1, or as soon after that as possible.

IMPORTANT DEADLINE FOR FINAL EXAM SUPPORT REQUESTS

Final Exams: All requests for Final Exams must be submitted no later than 11:59 PM on Wednesday, May 29th 2024. Please be sure your students submit your exam request(s) by then if they/you will need our support for one or more final exams. The further in advance we can receive these requests, the better.

LEAD TIME FOR ALL OTHER EXAMS (other than Final Exams)

All Other Exams: Support requests for all exams other than Finals must be submitted at least 7 business days before the desired exam appointment date due to the communication and coordination necessary among students, faculty, proctors, the DRC (for accommodated exams), and so forth. The further in advance we can receive these requests, the better.

Please do not request an exception to this as it is what allows us to serve everyone who needs our services.

NOTE: If ATS hasn't received the exam a full 24 hours before the scheduled proctoring time, the student's appointment will be canceled and we will assume the student is having their accommodated exam proctored by the instructor or a designee. For exam appointments on Mondays, we'll need to receive the exam as early the Friday before as possible so we can check it, print and prepare it to be delivered to the testing location.

If you have any questions, please send an email to: TestingServices@pdx.edu
