Youth Empowerment Association opens a call for 6 Macedonian participants (5+1 team leader) for the youth exchange “Building bridges through emotions“ taking place in Gudevitsa, Bulgaria from 19.07-27.07.2021.

The methods in the YE program follow the model "Learning by doing" - debates, simulations, energizers, ice-breakers, communication games, activities for exploring and sharing, group discussions, coaching sessions, creativity, reflection and self-reflection, open space and others.
 
IDEA BEHIND THE PROJECT
"We believe that self-awareness, tolerance, acceptance and cultural exchange are keys to healthy relationships, communities and societies. With this youth exchange, we want to provide youngsters with a safe place and environment to explore their inner selves and emotions as well as their prejudices, fears and impulsive behaviors.
1. Self-awareness: You will develop emotional literacy by learning more about emotional intelligence and emotional agility.
2. Encouraging diversity, tolerance and mutual acceptance: You will learn more about other cultures and traditions and will be encouraged to promote diversity, intercultural and inter-religious dialogue.
3. We will be building bridges through emotions between people from different nationalities, religions, cultures and social statuses and use emotions as a way to connect and put ourselves in the shoes of others.“

All expenses during the project (accommodation, food, transportation, workshops) are covered by the Erasmus+ programme of the European Union. Participants should pay for their own negative PCR test (up to 42 hours before travel day) or have a vaccination certificate or a certificate which confirms overcomed COVID-19 illness (which is valid for 180 days) in order to enter Bulgaria, while the travel costs will be reimbursed up to 180€.
