SpeechDojo has 2 program offerings: SpeechDojo Classroom and SpeechDojo Online. This form will allow you to enrol your class in both or either program. The differences between the Classroom and Online programs are outlined below for your reference. SpeechDojo Classroom:
- 15 week program with established fall and winter semesters
- weekly 30-45 minute lessons with an experienced instructor
- all lessons are delivered via Google Meet and place an emphasis on active learning activities
- targeted towards students in grade 5-9
- 3 tiers of programming to choose from: beginner, intermediate, advanced
SpeechDojo Online:
- 4-5 week course scheduled anytime during the school year
- students work through an online modular course with their teacher’s guidance
- SpeechDojo instructors conduct two 60 minute virtual workshops called Dojo Drop-ins that bookend the course
- targeted towards students in grades 7-12
- three online courses to choose from: Fundamentals of Public Speaking, Acing the Job Search and Becoming Presentation Savvy
