Thank you for your interest in this program! This is a full year collaboration between Project Write Now, MCVSD and STEAMpark that helps to close opportunity gaps for underserved children in 4th to 7th grades in Monmouth County, with full day summer camps and monthly academic meetups during the school year. 

We're excited to announce that volunteer staff positions are now open for 2024 summer camp in Red Bank, NJ! Camp will take place July 8th to August 2, 2024, weekdays from 8:00am to 4:00pm.

 

We're looking for high energy, academically-minded teens with a passion for helping younger peers to build skills, master reading and math, and become confident writers. Every applicant must meet this criteria:

* You must be a rising 9th, 10th, 11th or 12th grader or high school graduate.

* You must be a member in good standing of STEAMpark's Teen Board - register online (www.steampark.org)

* You must have reliable transportation to/from Red Bank Middle School, 101 Harding Rd

* You must have a recommendation (emailed to jennifere.chauhan@steampark.org) by a non-family member to attest that you're reliable, responsible, organized, honest, and good at creative thinking/problem solving.  

* You must be able to fully commit to one of the following schedules:

          * Option #1:  at least one full week of camp, 8:00am to 4:00 pm every day;

          * Option #2: at least one day per week, 8:00am to 4:00pm all 4 wks of camp; or

          * Option #3: mornings or afternoons (min 4 hrs) every day for all 4 wks of camp
