Thank you so much for taking an interest in the next stage for historic Black Field! Flat River Community Library is honored to take on stewardship of this space and rejuvenate it into a community treasure once again.
This storied and well-loved property served the community for decades as the home to GPS Yellow Jacket Football as well as many other athletic teams, and Greenville residents have countless memories of games and wins on that field. While the field and property has been largely out of use since 2012, it still stands as a monument to Dr. Duncan K. Black's dedication to Greenville families and education, and we would like to bring it into a new era of enrichment and activity for many years to come. FRCL stands on the site of the former Greenville High School/Middle School, and we are so grateful for the opportunity to reunite these two properties.
By participating in this survey, you get to be a part of its future and contribute to our vision of how best Black Field can serve the public going forward. Thank you for your time and effort!
