U13-U19 Teams Tiers 4-6 Post Season Advancement

EMSA teams are required to make a commitment that if they qualify for a post season spot they will fulfill their obligation by attending the competition they have qualified for. Teams who commit (via this form) and qualify for a post season spot who then withdraw from it, will be assessed an administration fee (fees can range from $500 upwards of $2500.00). In addition , that team will not be permitted to advance to any post season play for the next two seasons they register in and the head coach will be suspended for the same period of time.

Guest Teams from out of the Edmonton District cannot advance into Provincials under an EMSA berth. Guest teams are still required to submit this form indicating no. ALL teams are required to fill this form out. Please complete the following form specific to your teams tier indicating whether or not your team will be participating in post season. NEW qualification process tier specific:

Tier 4 teams have the chance to participate at Provincials taking place July 21st - 23rd, 2023 pending the team qualifies through the third/final round & team is in agreement to play via this post season commitment form.

Tier 5 & 6 have the chance to participate at City Finals July 3rd - 9th, 2023 pending the team qualifies through the third/final round & team is in agreement to play via this post season commitment form.

Please note that if you see "No P/S" beside a team name on the schedule it means they have declared they will not be advancing further into post season.

This form is to be filled out and submitted by all Teams. One form per team is required. Due June 2, 2023.
