Speaker Nomination Form: Data Science Education and Workforce Working Group
The South Big Data Innovation Hub leads the Data Science Education and Workforce Working Group an open quarterly professional working group for data science educators and program leaders to talk and hear from other programs around the country, as well as learn about resources for connecting with data, tools, industry partners, and research.

The focus of the group is on:
  • Highlighting funded Data Science Education and Workforce Projects and Resources
  • Experiences with Assessment or Evaluation Approaches for Data Science teaching or programs
  • Experiences with project-based courses & teaching approaches
  • Best Practices in Data or AI Workforce Development, including Upskilling in Industry, Academia, or Government

If you would like to share your experience in any one of these areas or nominate a colleague, we are accepting speakers and speaker nominations. Speakers will be given 10 min presentations plus 5 mins for questions.
