2025 Fort Fremont Marine Walleye Fishing Tournament Sign Up
Sign up here for this years Walleye fishing tournament! Entries will be accepted until 6pm Friday, April 19th, 2025 until 6:00pm. All Contestants must have a valid Wisconsin fishing license, if needed, at the time of the tournament. A Mandatory rules meeting is April 19th, 2025 at 6:00pm at Fort Fremont Marine. All teams must be represented by at least one team member, NO EXCEPTIONS. Participation in big fish pot is a voluntary $10.00 CASH entry fee.

I understand that there is a risk of injury involved in operating a boat and fishing. I understand that there is a risk of injury to me or other individuals and property while participating in the tournament. I agree to maintain good conduct, follow all state fishing and boating regulations. I will maintain insurance for myself and my property, as well as insurance to cover damage I may inflict to the property of others. I will not hold Fort Fremont Marine or any sponsors liable for my actions during this event.

Rules for Boats and Equipment:

All boats will conform to State and Federal Boating Rules and Regulations. Kill switch tethers, if applicable, shall be in place and functional. Life Jackets will be worn by participants when the main engine is running at speeds greater than slow-no-wake. All boats shall have a working live-well to maintain live fish. If your boat is not equipped with a live-well, please see tournament director at the rules meeting.

Tournament Fishing Rules:

  1. Walleye only tournament! Boundaries are the HWY 116 Bridge in Winneconne to County Rd. X Bridge in Northport.
  2. Legal fish length is 14 inches, measured closed mouth, pinched tail, on the official measuring board.
  3. Participants may have their 6 fish limit, 5 of which will be weighted.
  4. Tagged fish caught must be submitted to tournament director, tags may be left in fish until after they are weighed in.
  5. Dead fish penalty: Any dead fish will not be weighed. All fish weighed in are at the discretion of the tournament director. All director decisions are final. After weigh-ins, the fish are the responsibility of the catching team. If you choose to release your fish, place them in your live well DNR requires all live fish must be released 250 yards away from the dock.
  6. Only fish caught the day of the tournament will be eligible for weigh-in. There is one weigh in station to bring your fish. No stringers or Rock Hard Dead fish, this will result in a DQ.
  7. You may not tie up to any man made dock, raft, seawall, another boat, friends anchor, bridge piling or anything that resembles a previously mentioned structure. Departure of your boat is prohibited, If clear evidence is provided, the guilty party will be DQ.
  8. Tournament hours are from 6:00am until 1:30pm. Check in is from 5:00am to 5:45am, there will be 2 flights. Boat numbers 1-40 are flight one. And depart at 6 am and return at 1pm. Late check in will result in moving to back of flight 2 ad will still need to be checked in at flight one's check in at 1:00pm. Flight 2 is boat numbers 41-75 and will depart at 6:30am and return at 1:30pm.
  9. Tardy rules for weigh in: Teams checking in 1 second to 1 minute late will have half their weight deducted. Teams checking in later than 1 minute from their check in time will result in DQ. All boats must check in and return their number card to ensure all participants have made it back safely.
  10. Only registered team members may be in the boat.
  11. The only stopping point is Fort Fremont Marine. In the event of an emergency seek help immediately. Then contact the tournament director. 920-446-3220 NO EXCEPTIONS!!
  12. In the event of a mechanical breakdown, it is permissible to tow the disabled vessel back to check in. Fish must stay in original live well. No live well sharing will be allowed. Boat must still arrive at the check-in point on time or face a late penalty or disqualification.
  13. Ties: Prizes will be split equally between the tying teams. Plaques will be awarded at the flip of a coin. All decisions made by the tournament director are final.
  14. Plaques will be awarded to the top 5 teams.
  15. Fort Fremont Walleye Classic has ZERO tolerance for cheating.
