RELAY FOR LIFE LAP TRACKER
Hi there, and thanks for volunteering your time and energy to WALK for RELAY FOR LIFE (RFL)!  

This year, COVID-19 is preventing large gatherings in one place, so each team is being encouraged to ‘RELAY YOUR WAY’ to stay safe and healthy. This we can do, and don’t need to be under the same tent to walk laps!

Most of us have our favorite walks where we can safely social distance;  Around the neighborhood, at a park, forest lands, or local High School track, that can easily be converted to laps.*  

For the month of JUNE 2020, please join us in devoting your walks to the the RELAY FOR LIFE fundraising effort.  We welcome all to participate.  

Use this form to log your laps from your phone, ipad or computer ~ daily, weekly or by the end of JUNE. Each lap you log will earn one purple RFL ribbon of hope to build a virtual 'TREE OF HOPE', which you can watch grow on the website.  It also allows you to set your own personal donation goal.  The website has forms for downloading and printing, that can help track your laps, donations and sponsors.

*To convert your walk to laps, factor one lap around a High School Track as 0.25 miles (or about 500 steps). Divide the estimated miles (or steps) of your walk by those numbers to get a rough estimate of laps for your walk.

All donations can be made through American Cancer Society (ACS) - Relay For Life (RFL) website where you can specify one of three fundraising levels to support; EVENT (Relay For Life), TEAM (the B Team) or PARTICIPANT (team member).  Choose TEAM to have your donation reflected in both TEAM & EVENT fundraising tallies.  Choose PARTICIPANT to have your donation reflected in an individual PARTICIPANT fundraising tally as well as the TEAM and EVENT tallies. Choose EVENT if you do not wish to support a specific TEAM or PARTICIPANT, but only the event.  Choose UNDECIDED for no preference at this time.  If you would like your team added choose 'My Team' and include its name in the Notes so we can add it to this drop down list.

COVID CAVEAT
We truly appreciate your selfless efforts and donations to help others during this unprecedented challenging and difficult time.

In consideration of social distancing guidelines, the B-TEAM Captain will not be collecting checks, cash, coinage or paper tally sheets from participants or sponsors, and will focus attention supporting individual participants through 'virtual' tools to assist their efforts.  Please maintain paper tally sheets for your records, and submit any personal donations at the end of the month directly to the AMERICAN CANCER SOCIETY via the RELAY FOR LIFE website.  Links are found in GET FORMS on the BTeam webpage.

For those who do not wish to make their donation online, or are receiving checks from sponsors, donations can also be mailed directly to the local AMERICAN CANCER SOCIETY office. The address and tally form to include can be found for download and printing in GET FORMS on the BTeam webpage.
