Thank you for participating in the 2023 NC bird Count! We are pleased you will be joining other North Carolinians from the mountains to the sea as we document the many birds in our state February 17-20.

How to earn your NC Bird Count patch:

1) Create a free eBird account through their app or website.
2) Watch birds for at least 15 minutes and make a checklist of every bird you see and know how to identify.
3) Make three total checklists and submit them to eBird over the four days of the event.
4) Report your participation below and claim your badge!  Each participant will need to complete their own form to receive their badge.  

Once we receive your form, we'll mail your badge to you!
