I am excited to welcome you to the PND Dance Team tryouts for the 2024-2025 school year! I am looking forward to a fun and successful year of dance with the team! Please fill out the following registration form to let me know you are interested in trying out.
Items of note: The PND Dance Team season generally runs from August through February. But there will be a second tryout for the competition team in October per IHSA requirements. Practices for the fall season will begin in May. Practice schedules will be established after tryout results are posted.
A parent meeting regarding tryouts will be held during the first clinic day on Monday, April 22 from 5:00 to 5:30. It's not a required meeting, but any parent who is interested in learning about the tryout process and scoring is welcome to attend.
During tryout clinics, you may wear school appropriate practice attire (no crops or short shorts), pull your hair back, and bring jazz or tennis shoes and water. During tryouts, wear a white t-shirt and navy or black shorts, hair in a mid-high ponytail, and jazz or tennis shoes.
