What is the Golden Acorn Award?
This is an award given out by the PTSA to individuals who have given exemplary volunteer service to children and youth in our school community…not just an individual who has donated time to help in their child’s class or a staff member who is doing a good job. This award is given to recognize volunteer service “above and beyond” a particular job description.
We would like you to participate in the selection of our award recipient through your recommendations, and our PTSA awards committee will make the final selection. Individuals who have previous been recognized cannot receive a duplicate award. Previous recipients include:
2023 Golden Acorn Recipient: Erin Senge
2020 Golden Acorn Recipients: Judy Katsh, Carrie Mitchell, Michelle Forsen (Heinitz), Heather Edwards, Julie Radeff-Huang, and Jenny Thompson
2018 Golden Acorn Recipients: Marilyn Jacobson, Sue Idso
Nominations must be submitted by Monday, May 20th, at 12 PM PST.
