Hello! Thank you for your interest in our artist alley for the SAHCon happening on July 20th, 2024. Please read these rules before applying!
The SAHCon Artist Alley serves as a virtual replica to the ones found at physical conventions. Artists will be given their own unique channels during the convention to promo and sell commissions and self-made merchandise! Artists are allowed to host art-based streams during the convention, generally of their commission works or anything related to what they're selling/promoting.
1. Please make sure your portfolio has at least 3-10 Homestuck or Homestuck-related pieces.
2. You must be at least 18 years old in order to apply for the Artist Alley.
3. If applying to sell physical merch, you MUST have a storefront set up before you apply, and you must have at least one Homestuck-related item for sale. Applications applying to sell physical merch that do not have a storefront linked will NOT be considered.
4. If artists are accepting commissions during the convention, they should provide information to easily keep in contact with customers after the convention. This includes a reliable email and social media.
5. If offering commissions, we ask that artists limit the number of available commission slots to 10 or fewer.
6. If accepted, applicants will be given early access to our server to set up their virtual booth. We will be contacting through email and will have a time limit of 72 hours for accepted applicants to respond before we move on.
7. No NSFW pieces or merchandise will be allowed in the artist alley.
8. We ask that artists provide general price lists prior to the date of the convention.
9. Artists must already have an established Paypal account and are responsible for the appropriate fees, exchange rates for foreign currency, and handling shipping and delivery costs.
10. Artists offering commissions through the Artists' Alley must invoice customers as a business transaction, not using the "friends and family" feature on Paypal.
11. Artists who renege on their commitments to their customers will be banned from future participation in the Artists' Alley.
12. Generative AI-created art or art created with generative AI content is NOT ALLOWED under any circumstances, and will result in a blacklist if discovered.
Room is limited, so sign up when you can, up until the deadline of May 17th, 2024, 11:59 PM EST. This date is subject to change if we receive an unusually high volume of applications. Thank you!
