Requirements to be considered:
- You must have completed SCIT Improv Level 5 or similar program.
- You must have been on a house team for at least Two seasons (about 8 months).
- You must begin with assisting with a Level One Class.
- You must be able to attend all sessions for the class to which you commit. If you are unable to attend a class, you must find a cover from a list of other Teaching Assistants. If none are available, make other arrangements to make sure students get their summary.
- You must be on time for each class no later than 15 min before start time.
Duties:
- Take attendance.
- Email students a summary of each class and plugs of shows, classes, workshops and other events every week. If you have a cover, get notes from them and send out the email the week you missed.
- Assist with integrating students into the SCIT Community.
- Encouraging students to see shows, do jams, form practice groups. Guiding them in the community with coach recommendations, etc.
- Attend 30 min of office hours each week after class for half the classes
- Run warm ups as needed.
- Give feedback to students when prompted and guided by the instructor(s).
- Other miscellaneous admin duties.
