TRU Transportation Civic Academy Application
The Transportation Civic Academy is a no-pay transportation-centered education series. Over ten weeks you will learn about various aspects of transportation planning, hear from guest speakers with local and national expertise, and have the opportunity to propose solutions to local transportation problems.
Community members will come away from the Academy with skills and knowledge to advocate for safe and accessible transportation networks that work for everyone. Learn through in-depth discussions, presentations, projects, field trips, and more!

Some session topics will include:
  • How transit is funded
  • How to create change - Advocacy and effective communication
  • Livable communities and safe streets for all
