Montana Families Climate Summit
Thank you for your interest in the Montana Families Climate Summit sponsored by Families for a Livable Climate, Moms Clean Air Force Montana, and Montana Mountain Mamas. We can't wait to meet you.

When you register for the Summit you are making a commitment to attend (or view recordings of) the June 10 and June 17 virtual workshops, and then show up in person on June 18 in Helena from 12 - 5 p.m. to build community and connect with other climate concerned Montanans.

These training and community building events are free and open to the public, however attendance will be capped at 25 participants.

SCHEDULE

MONDAY, JUNE 7, 12 - 1:30 p.m. - Optional Climate Café (VIRTUAL EVENT)
The Climate Café is an hour and a half facilitated space for sharing that gives a maximum of 12 participants the opportunity to express the voices of our hearts about the climate crisis. Not a place for solution seeking, discussions, or opinions. Feelings, hopes, questions are welcome in a safe environment.

THURSDAY, JUNE 10, 12-1:15 p.m. - Climate Action Skills workshop: Having effective climate conversations across differences, and engaging your community (VIRTUAL EVENT)

12 - 4 p.m.  - Community and power building session: Coming together to create a livable future for all. Lunch and childcare provided. (IN-PERSON EVENT) Facilitator: Penélope Baquero. For over 20 years, Penélope has been involved in a variety of education organizations and initiatives with the common thread of contributing to societal transformation, working in formal and informal education, in the U.S., Latin America, and Indonesia.

4 - 5 p.m. - Social Hour hosted by MEIC (separate RSVP but we will send the link)
