Dora Moore Community Feedback - Additional Planning Days for 24/25
As we begin to already plan for the next school year, we are seeking community feedback regarding adding additional "non-student contact days' for teacher planning/assessment/conference days to the school year calendar.

There is a tension between teachers needing extra time to keep up with the demands the district and state continue to place on them, planning and delivering high-quality instruction every day, and knowing that each extra day has the potential to create challenges for family's to alter their personal schedules to figure out care for their children.

We have created this survey to gauge community feedback as we make this decision before March 1st.

For context, many DPS and schools all over the nation already implement additional non-student contact days and/or regular early release days to allow for additional planning time for teachers.
