CarnEVIL is a Halloween Festival of Fright! Featuring Steampunk Horror, Creatures of the Night, and Thrilling performers like stilt walkers and fire troop dancers.

This event opens October 28 and ends October 30. We will need volunteers for our set up Wednesday, October 26-Thursday October 27 and our press night event and rehearsal Thursday night. Our take down begins Monday, October 31, 10am.

This event is an annual fundraiser for the non-profit Our Ark and assists them in their mission to break the cycle of homelessness. Produced and promoted by Love Local Events LLC and our amazing group of volunteers and performers.

To make this event a success, we operate with volunteers and independent contractors. All volunteers are giving free tickets for 2 friends or family members, free general admission for themselves, and 1 free meal voucher. Hours also count as community service since you will be assisting with a nonprofit and their fundraising.

Those wishing to interview or audition for certain characters will be asked to be available for our interviews at Lacey Depot Park, October 14 and 15.

I understand that there is risk involved in working a haunted event on a large scale and agree to sign a waiver absolving Love Local Events LLC, Our Ark, and Thurston County Fairgrounds of all liability in the event of personal injury. Even though CarnEVIL is an amazing and fun opportunity for all, it is first and foremost a fundraising event for youth experiencing homelessness in our county. I agree to conduct myself in a professional manner and will be respectful of all people participating and attending. CarnEvil is an alcohol and substance free event. Due to the risk mixing a substance with horror can present, if you are suspected of being under the influence or misconduct, you may be asked to leave at any time and will not receive any compensation for your time or work given.
