Masonic Scholarship Program

Purpose:
The purpose of this scholarship is to help a graduating senior from United Township High School further his or her education.

Amount:
Two students will each be awarded $500 scholarship (Max of $1000) The Masonic Lodge will be matching the scholarship with the amount of $500 for a total of $1000!

Eligibility:
1. Graduating senior at UTHS who will be continuing his/her education at a College, University, or Trade
School.
2. Graduate of Colona School District or Silvis School District
3. Attended Colona School/George O Barr/NEJH for a combination of 6 years

Selection:
The recipients will be determined by a special selection committee appointed by the President of the PTA. The committee uses a number system to identify the applicants during the selection process. Names are not revealed until after the winning applications have been chosen.

Payment:
The scholarship will be awarded at a Colona Board of Education meeting in the spring.
