Before completing the application, students should make sure to understand the requirements and have  a sincere interest to pursue an externship.   Please make sure all information is accurate and ready to submit.  Once this application is complete, the Office of Skills and Experiential Learning will check Simplicity to download the most updated version of your resume, cover letter, transcript and writing sample. 1 credit = 60 hours (approx. 4 hrs per week); 2 credits = 120 hours (approx. 8 hrs per week); 3 credits = 180 hours (approx. 12 - 13 hrs per week). Some placements require a minimum 2-credit-hour commitment.
