Welcome to Brooke County Public Library and Follansbee Branch! The BCPL is beyond thankful for anything that you can help us with. You will be required to sign-in at the front desk when you “clock” in and out. This way we are able to keep library stats accurate, keep track of your individual hours, and most importantly it is used for safety. There will be a separate form available that you can also use to track your hours if you need them. This form will be the Validation Form that will be given to you at the end so that you have documentation yourself. If you need a signed form verifying your hours please see the Director, Director of Educational Programming, or the Head Clerk

The BCPL and Follansbee Branch currently have volunteers who share their talents and skills in many areas of our facilities. We will provide training to volunteers in anything that you may need. The BCPL staff will also try to match you up with duties that are currently available that you feel comfortable with doing.

The Library is an EEOC Employer.

By filling out this application,  you are only noting your interest in a volunteer position. We reserve the right to not schedule. BCPL has the absolute right to decline anyone as a volunteer without cause or statement of reason.

You will be asked to sign our Volunteer Policy once you have been scheduled.
