2024 El Paso County Kite Festival Vendor and Partner Form
Welcome to the El Paso County Kite Festival! This event is the Saturday before Fathers Day, June 15, 2024, at Falcon Regional Park, located in Falcon, Colorado, on Eastonville Road, just north of Falcon High School and Londonderry Drive.

Please fill out this application form to be considered as a vendor for the 2024 El Paso County Kite Festival. 
Once approved, all vendors must go through our permitting department by filling out a Vendor Permit Request Form (to be emailed later). Directions on how to apply for a permit will be given by email after approval. 

Vendor Applications:
All potential vendors must fill this application. Applications are reviewed on a first come first serve basis. Please submit your application, insurance, and all licensing documents by June 1st, 2024 to ensure space availability. 

Vendor options:
Activity Sponsor- FREE for a 10' x 20' space.  Activity sponsor vendors are not allowed to sell, trade, or do any money transactions at this event. This booth is for organizations that would like to provide a free fun activity for the community with the perk of being able to advertise your organization. For this free sponsor booth it is mandatory that you provide a game, activity, challenge, or something that sparks fun and excitement for people. Free prizes and give always are extremely encouraged. A donation for the Kite Competitions is also encouraged. (gift cards, free passes, vouchers for your organization, etc..)
Food/Beverage/Retail booth- A booth to sell goods, services, food, or beverages (non-adult only). Any and all items that are sold or distributed at the event MUST be approved in advance by our office. Our exclusive item vendors will be the only ones allowed to sell specific items for this event. Please apply early for exclusive vendor privileges.       
$40.00 Non-profit permit fee nonrefundable for each 10’x20’ space. $100.00 Refundable damage deposit                                                                                                                                     

General Information:

Vehicle parking and access onto park property and into the festival grounds will be limited to food and beverage vendors. All goods, merchandise,  and services must be able to drop off at a drop off location, and then bring in things by foot, approximately 100 ft.

Electricity and water hook-ups are not available at Falcon Regional Park. We recommend battery powered equipment for retail vendors and generators for food vendors.

NO SMOKING except in designated areas.

NO STAKES allowed. (use weights to hold down tents and other items)

Food vendors MUST have a License and Inspection from the Health Department. Once approved, please submit a copy of your license with your permit request form.

Vendors are required to obtain and show proof of liability insurance with a $1 million combined single limit and shall include El Paso County as an additional insured on the certificate. Once approved, please submit a copy of this with your permit request form.

Vendors may set-up only in areas designated by the festival organizer.

Declaration as to products to be sold shall be stated on the Vendor Permit Request. Once a vendor permit is issued for a specific purpose, it may not be used for any other purpose without the express approval of the Director of the Parks Division.

All articles brought onto park property, placed on display, or offered for sale, must be property of the vendor. They are placed there at the risk and expense of the owner.

El Paso County Parks reserves the right, without limitations, to restrict the use of lights, microphones, demonstrators or giveaways, which in the sole judgment of the Director of Parks and Leisure Services detract from the overall appearance of the area and/or interfere with traffic flows or neighboring exhibitors.

Advertising by means of posters, handbills, flyers, etc. on buildings, trees, posts, parked vehicles or other places is not permitted, nor will anyone be permitted to distribute advertising material outside of their assigned space. No SOLICITATION for sales or political support outside of the designated booth area is permitted. Violators may be expelled from the park property.

Willful violation of these rules may result in loss of the vendor permit. No refund of vendor permit fee will be authorized under such circumstances.

El Paso County Parks reserves the right to cancel any or all contracts with vendors.

If vehicles are an integral part of your display and the vehicle fits in your space it may be allowed under discretion of the festival organizer, and the vehicle must remain in the booth space for the duration of the event and may not be removed.

Declaration of food items to be served by the Food Vendor shall be stated on the Vendor Permit Request form. Once the vendor permit is issued for the specific menu, any other food items may not be served without the express approval of El Paso County Parks.

All garbage and refuse must be secured in plastic bags and removed from park property. The 5’ space immediately surrounding the concession booth must be kept clean by the user of the concession.

Each food vendor is responsible for the proper disposal of all waste products particularly cooking oil and animal fats. Cooking oil and animal fats cannot be disposed on park property.
