Objective: Starting with DCON 2021 and continuing with each DCON thereafter, to recognize an individual Kiwanian for above-and-beyond contributions to the Alabama District of Kiwanis.
Criteria:
A nominee must be an Alabama Kiwanian in good standing during the year he/she is recognized.
A nominee may be a current club officer, but should not be a current District officer or District Board member.
Recognition must be for a specific contribution during the course of the current Kiwanis year that positively impacts Kiwanis and/or the communities we serve.
Process:
Each Alabama District Kiwanis club may submit one (1) nomination (from the entire club or the club Board) in any given year.
The Alabama District KIWANIAN OF THE YEAR Nomination Email (Details Below) must be submitted using this fomr no later than June 1 of that year.
The Alabama District Past Governors will have sole responsibility for reviewing all submissions and selecting a recipient for that year.
The award will be presented at DCON.
