The Kodály Association of Southern California (KASC) is looking for new members to join our board! Are you interested in joining our team as an appointed board member? Read on for more information.

KASC's mission is to train, encourage, and inspire educators to higher levels of excellence and further music education through the implementation or adaption of the Kodály philosophy.

KASC has three open positions: Membership, Webmaster and Publicity. These are volunteer board positions, and KASC Board Members need to be OAKE members in good standing with KASC affiliation.

Membership:
-Actively pursue new membership
-Monthly online updates and communication of KASC's current membership list
-Keep an accurate roll of the membership
-Maintain and respond to emails received through the kascmail@gmail.com account

Webmaster:
-Maintain the kasc.oake.org website
-Create and manage events and ticket sales  

Publicity:
-Manage KASC’s social media accounts (Facebook, Instagram)
-Create advertisement digital flyers for KASC events (experience with Canva is helpful)

Deadline to apply is May 15, 2021.

Serving in an appointed board position is great way to gain experience as a leader in your educator community and to run for some of our elected positions like President Elect and Vice President.
