Catholic Fantasy Football Dynasty Interest Application
* Please read the entire description before submitting! *
Are you a Catholic, or interested in Catholicism, and also an avid fantasy football player? Would you like to grow in community with other Catholics while enjoying a year-round, active fantasy league? And as a bonus, how about earning a little money for yourself AND your parish religious education program in the process?
I am, and figure there must be others out there, too.
My name is Drew and I have been playing Fantasy Football since 2002. For the last 11 years, I have been Commissioner of my salary-cap dynasty home league. It is a great league, but I am looking to create another league filled with fellow Catholics. My hope is to forge life-long friendships routed in Christ and his Church through an active dynasty league that requires year-round commitment.
My hope is to have the initial start-up draft in May/June 2022, after the NFL draft. I would like to get managers in place by March so we can finalize the rules and Constitution. I am looking for dedicated, active members. Preference is given to practicing, devout Catholics...but will be open to those seriously exploring the Catholic faith as well.
In addition to an active, competitive league, I envision a fellowship of prayer, regular (perhaps monthly) Zoom chats, and mutual encouragement as we all strive to grow closer to Jesus.
Filling out this application does not guarantee entry. This will be a paid entry league with the first two years due upfront. The entry cost will be no less than $50/yr and no more than $100/yr. At least half of the funds collected will be donated to league members' parish religious education programs (or another Catholic organization in special circumstances).

Roster size, starting lineups, salary cap/no salary cap, online platform, prize structure, and most other things are negotiable. My plan is to start with the setup I have for my home league, then adjust it to the preferences of the managers.
