Digital Equity - Survey of Families in School Districts
Each school district in NYS is required to survey all families in their district on their ability to access reliable internet.  

Internet access has become more important for students and families, and it has been particularly important during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Schools are also required to investigate what roadblocks exist to internet access in households where students live.  

There is also some attention to the particular difficulties with accessing the internet in rural areas.  

The names you are asked to provide will not be shared with the New York State Education Department.  By providing this information, you will help us track that we have reached every child's family.   Your contribution is significant, and all details will be kept confidential unless your request otherwise.
