Thank you for your interest in joining the Junior League of Hartford, Inc. We are an organization of women committed to promoting voluntarism, developing the potential of women and improving communities through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers. Our purpose is exclusively educational and charitable. We seek women over the age of 21, regardless of race, religion or national origin, with an interest in volunteerism and a commitment to community service.
As part of the process of becoming an Active Member of the JLH, all new members participate in a New Member Training Course. Currently one begins in the fall, and the other begins in January. The course will provide you with the tools and training to best ensure your success as a Junior League of Hartford member and volunteer. You will learn about the Junior League and our internal procedures, our greater Hartford community, leadership development opportunities and more as you become a trained volunteer in the Junior League of Hartford. Please review our website for additional information on the JLH New Member Class requirements. These details will help to further your knowledge of the commitment and time needed to complete these requirements toward Active membership in the Junior League of Hartford.
Below, please find a membership application form to complete and return if you would like to join one of this year’s New Member Classes – September or January.
