Tech Skills Showcase is an event during which RODS brings together local IT professionals and newcomers with a background in IT. This is a one-day event which allows newcomers to showcase their IT skills to local IT companies. During the event, participants are placed on teams and given a tech challenge to solve.
Local IT professionals can take part in this event as judges, by judging the tech solutions of each team at the end of the day, or mentors who circulate and help teams out with their solutions.
How can I participate?
There are many ways to participate!
Judge: Judges will select the winning team at the end of the day (presentations will take place at approximately 5:00PM)
Mentor: Mentors guide the teams to help them solve the tech challenge throughout the day (Mentors are welcome to drop in throughout the day from 8:00AM-7:00PM)
Spectator: Enjoy the event and participate as you like!
Networking Event: Meet all of our participants at the end of the day at our networking event (5:00PM-6:30PM)
