"Putting History to Work" Internship Application Form, Spring 2022
USM History Majors and Minors: Please complete this form as part of the application process to serve as a 2022 USM "Putting History to Work" intern.

Completed applications include:
1. This completed (and submitted) application form
2. A current resume
3. A short 1-page cover letter detailing the internship/s you are interested in, why you are interested, and any relevant experience you bring to the internship.

After we receive your COMPLETE application, we will contact you about a potential placement.    

Note: We may not be able to place all applicants.

The minimum time commitment for the majority of these internships is a minimum of 130 hours over the course of the semester or summer.  This is the equivalent of 10-15+ hours/week.  Will this time commitment fit into your schedule? *
Please include the name and email address of a professor in your department who either serves as your faculty academic advisor or with whom you have taken classes (and who could serve as a reference).  Note: Please inform the faculty member that you have listed them as a reference for this internship program. *
