There are four secret weekend itineraries planned by youth adviser, Tim Murphy (parents get a copy, youth do not) for Indiana weekend road trips full of historic, spooky and some say, haunted places. By the end of their senior year, each youth has the opportunity to have gone on all four weekend trips!

WHEN

This year's trip is Friday, October 4 - Sunday, October 6. We're meeting in the UUI parking lot Friday evening at 6:30pm and we will be back at UUI by 11am on Sunday.

WHAT TO BRING

Items to bring are: Overnight things, flashlight (we will have extras), camera (optional), warm clothes, money for lunch and dinner on Saturday ($20 recommended). Please eat dinner before arriving on Friday evening or bring it with you to eat in the car.
 
In addition - there will also be a $20 registration fee to cover expenses including snacks and gas.

SCHOLARSHIPS

AS ALWAYS, we never want a family's financial situation to stand in the way of a youth attending any youth event!  If you are a currently registered (2019-2020 form) and attending UUI family, please contact our Director of Lifespan Religious Education to let her know if you need a confidential scholarship for the registration fee and she can also cover lunch and dinner for kids in a completely confidential manner--the kids don't even have to know!  Susanne can be reached at re@uui.org or 317-418-1679 (cell or text).

PERMISSION FORMS
We will also have a paper permission form that we will require a parent or legal guardian to sign prior to your youth participating in this event. Blank copies have been sent home from church and blank copies will be available on the 4th. If you would like a copy emailed to you, please send an email request to re@uui.org.

DRIVERS

In order to make this trip possible, we will need to borrow a car for youth advisor, Tim Murphy to drive (he normally drives a pickup which doesn't seat many youth!) and we need parent drivers. If you are able to help with this, please let Susanne know asap!!
