LUCHA is looking for volunteers to assist with our PlayStreets events! Playstreets is a series of block parties sponsored by the Chicago Department of Public Health that focus on encouraging outdoor play and promoting health and wellness in our community. At the events, we will have fitness instructors, outdoor play equipment, bounce houses, and more!

Founded in 1982, LUCHA has evolved into one the Midwest’s premiere housing advocates. LUCHA has effectively organized community members to fight for better housing services from both public and private sectors. It also works with community residents to access housing products and services, provide housing counseling, and coordinate technical assistance.

As a volunteer with LUCHA, we expect that expect you to be on time, look presentable, and conduct yourself with integrity.
