This is the registration form for potential vendors for our 4th annual KW VegFest, which will take place on Sunday, September 26th, 2021, in Kitchener-Waterloo, Ontario. KW VegFest is brought to you by Kitchener-Waterloo Climate Save, with the generous assistance of the City of Kitchener and the Downtown Kitchener BIA.

The festival will be held at the Kitchener Farmers' Market in downtown Kitchener, with some vendors in the outside covered area on the main floor, and others on the outside uncovered piazza on the upper level of the market. Some tents are available for vendors on the upper level; tents will not be allowed in the covered area on the main floor.

There will be an area on the upper level where people can sit and eat, and speakers will be just inside the market on the upper level. All Public Health requirements re: COVID-19 restrictions will be in effect in these areas.

There are a limited number of spots for vendors requiring electricity, and the wattage allowed is quite low. It's unlikely that cooking at the festival will be possible for this reason, because it's very easy to blow a fuse, and if that happens none of the other vendors will have electricity. Please make certain that you only use electrical devices below that wattage.

Registration will be open until Friday August 6th, 2021, and vendors will then be notified a couple of days later of their acceptance, denial, or wait-list status. We appreciate all interest, but we can only accept a limited number of vendors, and need to ensure that there are a variety of foods and products available to attendees.

FEES
* All vendors are required to pay their vendor fee within two weeks of receiving their acceptance.

FOOD VENDORS / HEALTH FORMS / SAMPLING
* ALL food vendors will be required to submit fire & public health forms at the time of payment, as well as proof of $2,000,000 in liability insurance. Health forms will be provided with your acceptance letter.
* Sampling of food will not be possible inside the festival area due to the necessity of wearing masks. We are working with Public Health to find out if we can give people samples while they are in line.

VEGAN & EARTH-FRIENDLY
* PLEASE NOTE: all products, literature, or services given, sold or advertised at KW Vegfest must be vegan and cruelty-free. We have the right to exclude any items. Please ensure that your products contain no animals, eggs, dairy, honey, feathers or animal leather.
***We ask all vendors to use compostable or fully recyclable containers; let's  make KW VegFest as Earth-friendly as possible.

COVID-19 RESTRICTIONS
* We expect that restrictions will still be in place, and that masks will be required at all times, except in the designated eating area. The number of attendees in each area will almost certainly be restricted as well.
