Climate Recentered is a movement of BIPOC youth from so-called Surrey based out of Solid State Community Industries. After conducting a summer of extensive research learning about what the community needs, we have decided to host a series of family-friendly community festivals in collaboration with the Surrey Schools District and the City of Surrey.

We will be spotlighting stalls for local food entrepreneurs, art from BIPOC artists, games and activities, free/affordable clothing, free food, space for community dialogues and organizing and access to booths for community services and organizations. We seek to celebrate and uplift community through
