Volunteer & Mentorship Opportunities with The Writers Guild Foundation
Thank you for your interest in volunteering your time for the Writers Guild Foundation!

We pair WGAW members with like-minded organizations who work with young people from underserved communities on literacy, writing and filmmaking. Organizations we have worked with include Young Storytellers, Ghetto Film School, Get Lit!, PEN in the Community, and more. The commitment ranges from one-time speaking engagements to longer term mentorship programs. It all depends on your availability and schedule.

We also arrange for WGA writers to appear at high schools, colleges and universities locally and around the country. The program is designed to create a link between students and the Hollywood writing community in order to give students firsthand insights into the craft, practices and career management issues of the working writer.

Please fill out the form below and our staff will reach out if any opportunities match your preferences.
