We have an incredible week of fun and activities planned for our wonderful year 5's this year and we are really looking forward to it!

Please complete this form to give permission for your child to join our activities for Year 5 activity week and to indicate if you are available to join us for any of our orienteering day (we need your help to make this happen!)

Our plan for the week: Nov 27th - Dec 1st

Monday 27th: School as usual (swimming)

Tuesday 28th: Orienteering at the Dunedin Botanic Gardens (walk down - bus back)

Wednesday 29th: The Science of Crime - At school

Thursday 30th: Sports tournament at the Edgar Centre (bus there and back)

Friday 1st: Movie day at school - PJs, popcorn, relaxation!

The total cost for Year 5 activity week will be: $30

This cost is to cover the price of our buses, venue and equipment hire at the Edgar Centre and to pay for the incredible science of crime day we will have. This will be charged to your child's school account.

Could you come orienteering with us? *

In order to enjoy orienteering, we need parent help to come and enjoy the great outdoors with us!

Tuesday 28th November: We need 7 parent helpers to come with us - this is to have small groups of students orienteering and plenty of adults to children in such a large space. It is also to help keep us safe when crossing the roads on our way down to the gardens.

Each parent will be assigned a small group of children (max. 6) to orienteer with around the Dunedin Botanical Gardens.

Orienteering will take place between 11am and 2:30pm. The option to take your own transport there to meet us at 11 is possible too.
