Welcome!

This activity is designed for students in grades 5 through 8 who are already familiar with the Explora search interface. You can complete this multidisciplinary escape room activity on your own or with a group – in person or remotely. You can time yourself, compete against friends, and try it multiple times. Just make sure you suspend your disbelief and have a bit of fun!

We recommend opening the Escape Room in a separate web browser, so you don't lose your progress when searching in your library’s Explora database. You'll also want to have a pen and piece of paper or notebook handy!

Note to educators/librarians: Students will need to use a version of Explora that has either the Primary Search and/or Middle Search Plus database enabled.
