What is NGSchool?
NGSchool (Next Generation School) is a platform to share expertise in the field of Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) data analysis and general Bioinformatics.
We organize activities for young researchers who are primarily from Central & Eastern Europe, who have a background in biology/mathematics/informatics, and who strive to improve their bioinformatics and data analysis skills.
Summer school is our flagship annual event - so far we have organized four editions. We also co-organized several local events, such as workshops, symposia, and conferences.

However, this will be our first VIRTUAL EDITION. It is a big challenge, but with your help, we can do it!

PERSONAL DATA PROCESSING AND STORAGE
In accordance with EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) from adopted on 14 April 2016, and enforceable beginning 25 May 2018 we are required to seek your permission to process and store your personal data. We only use your personal data for the registration of your interest in coming edition of NGSchool and sending emails about our events. For those purposes we are using following information: e-mail, name, surname, position and other given in the registration of interest form.

In reference to the above we ask you to read the following agreement for processing and storing your personal data.

CONSENT TO PERSONAL DATA PROCESSING AND STORAGE

I hereby express my consent to the processing and storage of my personal data given by me in the registration of interest form to NGSchool.

I hereby acknowledge, that my personal data will be processed in accordance with applicable law and that:
(1) NGSchool is acting as an administrator of the given personal data.
(2) My given personal data will be processed and stored in order to conduct registering interest in NGSchool and sending emails.
(3) My given personal data will be stored and processed for the intended purposes as long as the NGSchool is operating or until I will withdraw my consent. Withdrawing the contest will not affect legality of data processing and storing that had place before.
(4) I have the right to access, edit and delete my given personal data at any time. I have also right to withdraw my consent at any time.
(5) I have right to take legal action if I recognize that processing and storage of my given personal data infringe applicable law.
