The purpose of the room parent program at FCS is to support teachers and build community. For example, room parents may support teachers by coordinating parent support for special projects, field trips, celebrations, or other class activities. Room parents will also serve as liaisons between the teacher and the PTO. The PTO will coordinate the room parent program with support from the administration.

FCS is recruiting room parents for each pre-k and elementary school class as well as for specials (i.e., library, music, art, and P.E.).  For middle school, FCS is recruiting homeroom parents and subject matter parents (i.e., a “science parent”).
